Google is now pushing an updated version of its Fit app (Fit 2.16) to the Play Store that carries with itself a new Dark Mode toggle. If you are unfamiliar with Fit, it is a unified service by Google which manages your health statistics. Be it your daily exercise, the number of steps you have walked or figures like water intake or meal details, Fit is a complete solution integrated with other Google services. While offering all of these features, the best part is, you can easily keep all of the stats synced up with your Google account which makes switching to new devices much easier!
While the new update also addresses bugs and improves performance, the highlight change is definitely the new dark mode. Just like various other Google apps such as Google Keep which have received the new dark mode overhaul, Fit is joining in on the fun as well. Once you install the new app, you would be greeted with the same light UI but you can easily enable dark mode by going through the app settings. You can read ahead on how to download and install Google Fit 2.16 APK on your phone and have dark mode running.
