Xiaomi’s sub-brand Poco F1 will receive Android Q update supported by MIUI 11.0.9 as confirmed by Pocophone’s Head Alvin Tse. Because of Poco F1’s cheap price and powerful specs, OnePlus handsets are facing tough competition but OnePlus is standing firm with its 5G enabled handset in the UK and the US. This new Poco F1 update announcement comes just days after first batch of Xiaomi devices got their Android Q update schedule.
Android Q is Google’s latest operating system that is currently being developed. It comes packed with various new features like parental mode to monitor and restrict app usage, live captions, system-wide dark mode, downloading and installing Android updates directly from Google Play. All of this will be coming to Poco F1 and more thanks to MIUI 11 skin.
