Xiaomi, just like other smartphone manufacturers, is currently preparing to update its current lineup of devices to Android Q. A senior employee from the brand has released a complete road-map / schedule for release of MIUI 11, based on Android Q, software update for no less than 13 phones. Included within the list are devices from Xiaomi’s Mi and Redmi lineup. As expected, the latest Mi 9 will get the update along with older Mi 8 as well. From Redmi series, new Redmi K20 and Note 7 will also be receiving Android Q.
Looking at Xiaomi’s last MIUI 10 release, the popular skin has improved quite a lot. There have been various new additions to the software in terms of features and functions. Similarly, we expect the same from upcoming MIUI 11. Even before the company has highlighted any upcoming software changes in MIUI 11, there is a complete, official roadmap out for the release schedule! Listed ahead are expected launch dates for the major update along with devices that have been confirmed to get Android Q.
MIUI 11 Android Q Update Schedule for Xiaomi Phones
Here is the confirmed schedule for MIUI 11 release. As with all roadmaps, these dates, despite being official, are subject to change. Further, the quarters have been highlighted rather than the exact date which gives the brand some leverage in meeting these deadlines.

Missing from the list is Pocophone. However, various officials have previously teased Android Q update for it so we are considering it as confirmed but there is no timeline yet.
