The camera APK is built with a minimum SDK version of 25. This means it will support devices running on Android 7.1 Nougat and above. You can give the camera app a shot on your device and enjoy features like Pro mode.

For processing, it runs on an octa-core 2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset. Users also get 8GB of RAM along with storage options ranging from 128GB to 512 GB. In the camera section, this device brings a 12 MP + 8 MP camera on the rear and an 8-megapixel selfie shooter on the front face. Here are few screenshots of the app running on a non-ROG device:
There are some of the features which could not be ported by the developer. Also, apparently, the camera App will not work on any device running on Snapdragon 845 chipset. Strangely, the ASUS ROG itself packs Snapdragon 845 but the app upon porting won’t work on a similar hardware set-up.
