How to Use Animoji on Any Android device with Nokia Camera Port

Here is how you can use Animoji on any Android device using Nokia camera app. Apple’s Animoji or Samsung’s AR Emojis are one of the most popular and attractive 3D augmented reality features. But both of them are limited to either iPhone X series or Samsung’s flagship level phones. Recently linuxt, a recognized contributor on XDA Forum has released an universal Nokia camera port with pro mode and Animojis enabled. The HMD Global’s newly launched Nokia 6.1 Plus camera uses the front facing camera to map users facial expressions onto a 3D model for making 3D avatars. Using this, you can install it on any Android phone and make use of Animoji.

You can download Nokia Camera port and start creating your own Animoji or 3D personas with this article. Some of you are probably wondering what is ‘3D Personas’, well, think of it as Animoji for Android. This is basically a feature that can create and control 3D emoji using your phone’s front-facing camera. It can map your facial expressions in order to create a 3D model of your face, in other words, make a 3D emoji out of it. Several 3D emoji aka 3D Personas are available to play around with by default, but not many.
