We have put together a detailed step-by-step instructions guide on how to unlock bootloader on Xiaomi Poco F1. The process has been revamped recently as you no longer have to fill out application form rather it is all automated.

Step 1 – Login with your Mi account and head on to in order to have unlock permissions for your account. Make sure you have an account that has mobile number verification.

Step 2 – Once you have logged in, click on Unlock button on the webpage and then proceed to tap on Download Mi Unlock from the resulting page.

Step 3 – On your Xiaomi Poco F1, enable developer options by going to Settings > About Phone and then tap on MIUI version continously until You’re now a developer popup appears.

Step 4 – From the main Settings menu, now tap on Additional Settings Developer Options. Browse down till you see Mi Unlock Status and then sign-in with the same account you used to download Unlock tool in Step 2.

Step 5 – Within Developer Options, also enable OEM Unlocking and USB Debugging.

Step 6 – Now, proceed to put your Xiaomi Poco F1 into Fastboot mode by first powering it off and then, powering it on while holding Volume Down and Power buttons simultaneously. Hold until you see your phone is booted into Fastboot mode.
