The first device to debut this name is Poco F1. As with other Xiaomi smartphones, the goal here is to provide amazing hardware at quite lower price points than competitors. However, what’s different with the new Poco F1 is, it takes that philosophy to the extreme. Pocophone F1 will be coming with a Snapdragon 845, dual lens camera and minimal bezel display with a shockingly low starting price tag of $300. Trying to make Pocophone different from other Xiaomi smartphones, the brand has decided to pack in custom software rather than the usual MIUI. In this effort, there is a new launcher designed just for Poco F1. This launcher takes cues from Pixel launcher and also has an app drawer unlike MIUI. Despite being announced after Android 9.0 Pie, the phone will ship with Android 8.1 Oreo with an update coming soon. This is not a modified APK file rather this has been directly ripped from a Poco F1 hence why, the compatibility is still a question on many smartphones. As said earlier, it works well on Xiaomi smartphones.

How to Install Android 9.0 Pie Launcher APK
As mentioned before, you need to be running Android Nougat for this launcher to work on your device.
Step 1 – Download Xiaomi Poco F1 Launcher APK for Android Oreo / Nougat:
Update: Xiaomi has listed the new Poco launcher on the Play Store as well. For now, it is unreleased and requires a sign-up procedure which is currently full. However, you can manually download the revised APK file from the link ahead.
Step 2 – Locate the APK you just downloaded and open it to install it.
Step 3 – If you are installing an APK directly for the very first time, you would be notified to enable “Unknown Source” setting. If not sure about this, see link below on where to find this setting.
Step 4 – After enabling, the app should install. You can open it by pressing your HOME button and then select the “Pixel Launcher” option.
Step 4 – Go to Settings then App and then to Default Apps. In this listing, you should see Home Screen, tap on it. From available options, select Pixel Launcher.
That’s it! You can now use Xiaomi Poco F1 Launcher directly on your smartphone. To revert back, just reset the default home screen option to where it was before or simply uninstall the app.
