Black Crush Issue
Many customers have reported an issue where the screen experiences a problem of uncovering different points in darker areas of videos, showing blocks of black or pixelated images. This problem is often called “Black Crush Issue”. This issue is generally produced with the bigger Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus and at low brightness level. This can be resolved with the following solutions.
1 – Company should release a software update to fix the issue.
2 – This can also be resolved with an app called Screen Balance which provides you with manual screen control to adjust the colour, tint or black levels of your Galaxy S9/S9+.
Brightness Automatically Adjusts To Too Low
The owners of Samsung Galaxy S9/S9+ have also started facing a problem where when the phone is unlocked, the brightness level of the screen adjusts to very low level at night or in dark areas even with the Auto Brightness and Blue Night Mode disabled. Unfortunately, this issue only has one solution.
This problem arises when a user restores the system settings from the previous device and the previous device has Night Mode enabled. The only solution to this issue is to Factory reset the device. Make sure to uncheck the “Restore System Settings” option once setting it up after factory reset. Don’t worry, your app will be restored after you sign in to Google Account.
Yellow Tint On Display

If you are facing this problem, then go to S9/S9+ Settings Menu > Display > Color Mode where you will be able to manually adjust the RGB spectrum until the screen looks better and the yellow tint is gone. If it doesn’t work, replace it.
