Mostly, people communicate with each other through texting each day but sometimes those words aren’t enough to make one another understand or to explain something funny so, people use emoji, stickers or GIFs to convey their words or to show their emotions. Many keyboard apps have arrived to provide all of these features like emoji, stickers and GIFs. However, with the introduction of Gboard 7.2 Beta, the Google powered app now gives you the ability to make your own GIFs on top of a large database of already compiled GIFs.
Just recently, Google has released a new Beta version of Gboard which allows user to make their own GIFs. All you have to do is to go to the GIFs section in the Gboard app and use your own device’s camera to create a GIF image. You can open the GIF interface and then select My GIFs to create a new GIF. This functionality is currently being tested and can only be utilized by installing the Gboard 7.2 Beta version from the guide ahead. Hopefully, after successful test runs, this app will make its way to the stable channel but till then, install Gboard 7.2 APK on your Android device to use it immediately.
Back in January, Google released this feature for iOS but it took quite some time for it to arrive on the brand’s own mobile OS, Android. Fortunately enough, this feature has finally arrived and it is working nicely for a Beta. To make GIFs, the app now requires a permission to use camera before starting the process of creating GIF. You will also get a full screen view of a camera interface and will be able to make a GIF which is 3 seconds long at max. There are also some great filters to use on your GIF. The created GIFs can be found in “My GIFs” if you wish to use them again.
