Press Volume Up button once to confirm to enter into Download Mode. Read: How to Enter Download Mode on Galaxy S8 Plus.

This method failed. OEM unlock on, USB Debugging on, drivers installed. In download mode the COM does not turn yellow. When I initiate this it fails. And why would I want to remove the battery? I don’t have those kinda tools to do it, you gotta be kidding.

  2. Unfortunately this tutorial does not work for my galaxy s+. I get a fail notification (Complete(Write) operation failed) in Odin v3.12.3 after handling the recovery.img. I tried several USB cables and USB ports on my pc, but none is working. I’m searching for solutions on the internet without succes at this moment. Did anyone succeed with this tutorial?
