Huawei Mate 9 USB Drivers – Download Now

You can now download and install proper USB drivers for Huawei’s Mate 9 smartphone. Huawei, one of the leading Android smartphone manufacturers, came out with the Mate 9 at the end of last year. It features some of the brand’s top of the line hardware, including the Kirin 960 processor. The phone is a very great package, no doubt, but to truly make use of it, you need to have proper USB drivers installed on your computer. As the hardware is proprietary, you need to have correct drivers for the phone to properly transfer data and so on. Once installed, these drivers would make sure your computer correctly recognizes the phone. Fortunately, right below, we have proper USB drivers for Huawei Mate 9 along with a procedure to install them.

Once done with installing the USB drivers, you can rest in the fact that every time you connect your phone your PC will realize it correctly. For the loyal users out there, they might remember the USB Mass storage functionality which basically made your phone a USB once enabled. Well, that has been replaced due to obvious security concerns. However, the new versions do support “Media device (MTP)” which allows you to add or remove files from your internal storage. MTP drivers are always included with the stock Android phone software. ADB drivers and Fastboot drivers will need to be downloaded from the Android SDK. We have an entire section full of Android USB Drivers, but we have that covered as well for you below on how to download and install the drivers.

  • Wait for HiSuite to correctly detect the model number of your phone.
  • Once it does, you can now seamlessly transfer data to and from the device.

From now on, the Huawei Mate 9 will automatically be recognized and will be displayed in the Explorer menu with it’s correct name. If it doesn’t, re-install HiSuite.

Huawei Mate 9 USB Drivers for Windows

Like we said, the USB drivers for Huawei Mate 9 are always bundled with Huawei HiSuite or MTP drivers are part of the Android 6.0 Marshmallow / Android 7.0 Nougat software that comes with the phone. Once finished, you will see a new media device in My Computer. You can now transfer photos, music, videos or any other files from and to your Huawei Mate 9 USB memory.

Huawei Mate 9 USB Drivers for Mac

Connecting your Huawei Mate 9 USB memory on a Mac is also easy. If you have been a Nexus device user on a Mac previously, then this Huawei Mate 9 should be no different for you.
