For the newly released Samsung Galaxy Note 7, customers can use this guide to properly install USB drivers on their computers. The new Galaxy Note 7 was announced earlier this month and just recently, it has also started shipping to users. The new phone brings a newly thought design, external SD card support and other hardware improvements which make it a worthy upgrade over the previous Note 5. However, in this post, we will be guiding you on how you can install the correct USB drivers on your computer to avoid any malfunctions or incorrect data transfers. The install is quite simple and we have covered both Windows and Mac. Also, once you install these drivers, other Samsung devices will also work as this is a sort-of all in one package. Proceed further to find out how to install USB drivers on the new Samsung Galaxy Note 7.

USB drivers for the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 are the same as other Samsung Android devices. Sadly, Android has left the mass storage option out of it’s latest builds for security and various other reasons. However, these Android devices do support “Media device (MTP)” which allows you to add or remove files from your internal storage. MTP drivers are always included with the stock Android phone software. ADB drivers and Fastboot drivers will need to be downloaded from the Android SDK. We have an entire section full of Android USB Drivers, but we have that covered as well for you below on how to download and install the drivers.
