BlackBerry released an Android phone this year with high-end specifications and it had Android Lollipop preinstalled. It has now received the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update. The update is available around the world for all unlocked BlackbBerry Priv models. Carriers models will receive the update in a week or two.

BlackBerry Priv Marshmallow update brings many new features to the BlackBerry’s only Android device. It includes traditional Android Marshmallow features like App Permissions, which allows you to choose the specific permissions for a specific application. So that you can turn off unnecessary app permissions.

BlackBerry Hub includes more social media applications like Instagram, Skype, Slack, and Pinterest. This will allow you to get all of your messages at one place for easier communication with your friends and family.

200 new emojis are also included in the new update. Plus the BlackBerry Keyboard now support Swipe, you can now swipe on the physical or on-screen keyboard to type faster.

The camera can now record 1080p@24fps videos and 720p slo-mo videos at 120 frames per second.
