Chainfire has just released version 2.64 of the popular rooting solution called SuperSU. The SuperSU app is available free from the Play Store but to gain root functionality, there’s more to it then just installing an app. Apparently, since Android Lollipop’s release, it has become increasingly difficult to root phones. However, Chainfire — the main developer behind SuperSU — is continuously working on making root much simpler than it seems. The new SuperSU 2.64 brings about some major changes. This singular package can now automatically detect and patch firmwares deciding on whether the system needs to be modified or not. In simpler words, the new SuperSU 2.64 ZIP package can work much better with different Android builds — namely, Android 6.0 Marshmallow — over a variety of devices. You can download and flash SuperSU 2.64 from the link we have attached below.
Chainfire still classes this as an experimental Beta which means it will contain few glitches here and there. However, with SuperSU 2.64, confidence has been increased and we will see this version being pushed to more mainstream channels where more users will have the opportunity to use it. You can test it yourself by finding a fast download link to SuperSU 2.64 ZIP package right below.
