Google is launching 2 new Nexus smartphones this year. One is the all new Huawei Nexus and the other one is LG Nexus 5, the possible reboot of LG Nexus 5 2013. Possible specifications of both devices have been leaked online.
First, the LG Nexus 5, which is a fresh new version of the previous LG Nexus 5 will come with 5.2 inches display with 1080p resolution. The chipset is possibly Snapdragon 620 processor with a whopping 4 GB RAM. Internal storage is 64 GB with no possible Micro SD slot. The main camera is 13 MP and a 4-megapixel iris-scanning front camera.
The new Nexus 5 will be coming with a USB-C port, QuickCharge 2.0 and a rear power button. A possibility of finger print sensor is also there. The new Nexus will be coming with a large 3180 mAh battery. It will come with a metal frame and a plastic back. The cost is expected to be $300 to $400. which shows that why LG used a less powerful chipset.
On the other hand the Huawei Nexus is the Google’s flagship this year. It is coming with a 21 MP camera and wireless charging support. Possibly it would get the latest Snapdragon chipset from Qualcomm.
Both phones will be running, of course, on Android M out of the box. It means that none of these phones will be launched before the launch of Android M later this year.
