More than 800,000 people requested for an invite just in a day when OnePlus 2 opened the invite system. The requested invites passed a million in number, the next day. Just like the OnePlus One, the OnePlus 2 units are limited again this time.
OnePlus’ online store in China put a batch of 30,000 OnePlus 2 units up for sale and they sold out in just 64 seconds. Of course there are still many people who could not get the OnePlus 2 in the first batch. The company will out the 2nd batch after a week, on August 11. It is not mentioned that how many units will be up in that batch, however, we are sure that those units, too, will be sold instantly.
It is worth mentioning that invites are not required in China to get a OnePlus 2. The invite system is only for the rest of the world. The 16 GB storage version with 3 GB RAM will cost you CNY 2,000 in China, which is approximately $320. You can get the 64 GB version with 4 GB RAM for CNY 2,400.
The OnePlus 2 comes with a 5.5 inch 1080p screen. A 13 MP back and a 5 MP front camera, Snapdragon 810 chipset and Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.
