Google just released the Android market share of month July. Android Lollipop is at third place. 18.1% of Android devices are now running on Google’s latest Android Lollipop. In June, this number was 12.4%. Which means that market share of Lollipop has increased by a great margin.
Android Jelly Bean share has fallen significantly to 33.6% from 37.4% in June. Android 4.4 KitKat is on the top with a market share of 39.3%. Market share of KitKat actually increased a little from 39.2% from previous month.
All other versions have a very low market share. Froyo has a least market share of just 0.3% among more than a billion Android devices. Ice Cream Sandwich has 4.1% share and Gingerbread has slightly more, 4.6% market share in July.
