Yesterday, the OnePlus staff announced yet another crucial specification about their upcoming phone, the OnePlus 2. They unveiled that it will, in fact, come with a 3300mAh battery. A slightly bigger battery than the OnePlus One will be a welcome change. For the record, we always get decent battery time with the One, so we’re glad to hear that the next phone is going to have an even bigger battery.
Listening to customers, they have preferred technical specifications over design for the OnePlus 2. Yes, the OnePlus 2 might be a little thicker but that extra battery life you will get is worth it. We hope they make it removable for easier replacement — or for those crazy extended batteries.
Now we know quite a lot about the OnePlus 2 before it’s official unveiling on 27th July. We know it will have a Snapdragon 810 processor, USB-C, a quick fingerprint reader, 4GB RAM and also will cost less than $450.
This is starting to look like the 2015 flagship killer indeed. Keep watching this space for latest news about the OnePlus 2.
