OnePlus officials can not keep themselves from spilling the details on their soon-to-be latest “flagship killer”, the OnePlus 2. Pete, at the official forums, wrote a detailed post on how the OnePlus 2 will be powered by Qualcomm’s questionable Snapdragon 810 processor.
He clarified that Qualcomm engineers have worked closely with OnePlus to make what’s called Snapdragon 810 v2.1. This specific CPU has been criticized for a number of issues, like over-heating in phones, but it seems OnePlus 2 will have a fix that won’t over-heat the phone at all.
Coupled with the Snapdragon 810 will come an Adreno 430 GPU. This combination is set to handle 4K videos and 64-bit apps with ease. All the stuff you expect to do with the most expensive 2015 flagship would be done equally well on the OnePlus 2 hopefully in a much cheaper cost. This is what seems to be one of the many details we are going to see till the official unveiling so stay tuned for more info!
