Display Screen

Hot Note comes with a large 5.5-inch display screen which is just perfect for watching videos, web browsing and even for some reading. We have been in love with the display screen because of its amazing colours, image quality and it even works great in direct sunlight. Brightness is controlled automatically with the phone’s smart ambient light sensor. These are the screen features that you don’t really find in a budget Android phone.

Camera

There is an 8 megapixels camera included with this phone that takes amazing pictures. The quality of the photos, colour balancing etc. is just on par with other Android phones which are above the Rs. 30,000 price range. There are a number of picture modes that you can play around and choose, depending where you want to take a picture at. There is Face Beauty mode that automatically enhances your ‘beauty’ in the picture taken, a cool panorama mode for those long wide shots, a multi-angle view mode, motion track, smile detection etc.

Front camera supports 75 degrees wide-angle shooting for your selfies, or a group selfie with your friends. We’ll do a detailed review on the camera features later.

As the official website says:

“Hot Note is equipped with an OV8865 image sensor. It delivers high performance with a power-efficient 8 MP camera. Dynamic view is enhanced by 5%; night time shooting is improved by 50%.”

And we do agree with all this said.

Here are some sample camera photos we have taken the Infinix Hot Note:

Battery

This is where the phone really shines. Hot Note has a 4000 mAh battery — yes, 4000! This is plenty of battery life for anyone like us who has a daily high usage of the phone. According to the official claim, the Hot Note can give you atleast two days of battery time.

But well, in our use we were able to pull our three days with normal usage. And a whopping 7 days with light usage. This is the maximum battery timing we have seen with any Android phone to date — even the tablets don’t go on for those long. Highly impressive!
