Android M Developer Preview was just announced at the Google I/O 2015, and guess what, the first preview is going to be available starting today! Google announced that Android M Preview will be rolling out to the Nexus 5, Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 (and the Nexus Player as well) today so developers can flash the new upcoming Android M release to try out the new APIs and make sure their apps are running perfectly fine.

This new Android M brings a number of new features, and the usual enhancements to the overall OS. This may not be a huge new Android update like Lollipop, but it certainly brings some interesting new features that developers and Android users have been asking for a long time. We’ll highlight those features in a while, till then, keep reading Team Android — you know, for the tutorials on how to flash that awesome new Android M Developer Preview on your phone.

And oh, we think the new Android M will be called Android 5.5 Mercury — just a guess.
