After the release of Android 5.0 Lollipop and Material Design guidelines alongside it, app developers have been continuously rushing to perfect material design on their apps. Similarly, Dropbox has released a large revamp for it’s own Android app. This new app has a totally new design scheme. Blue and white signature colors remain the highlight. However, the User Interface is now much flatter and corresponds well with other Material Design apps.
Dropbox is a service known for providing Cloud based storage solutions to variety of customers. If you are trying to backup your photos or you want to backup your latest compilation of code, we recommend you test out Dropbox on Android. This recent revamp makes the app even more exciting to use. Not that backing up and managing data is fun on its own! 😛
The usual features are all present. Nothing drastically different has changed under the hood except for the fact that everything has been tidied up a bit and made easier to access. We loved the way Material Design was incorporated in this release, what do you think?
