Samsung Galaxy Note Edge USB Drivers – Download Now

Samsung’s Galaxy Note Edge is truly an exotic device in it’s own respect but before that it is an Android device which requires USB drivers to be installed on your PC. Galaxy Note Edge is featuring a Quad-HD screen that bends on the right side. This bend has been used to gain productivity and display notification information or just act as a helpful side menu. Currently, the Note Edge runs KitKat and Android 5.0 Lollipop is to arrive soon. In order to make sure a reliable connection between your phone and your computer, correct USB drivers are compulsory.  Samsung has its own proprietary USB connection software and drivers which improve security and avoid misuse of the device. Most of the new users will have some troubles connecting their device to their computers (Windows or Mac). Solving those issues, we are presenting you a quick guide which explains how you can install USB drivers without installing the full Samsung KIES suite.

USB drivers for the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge are the same as other Samsung Android devices. Sadly, Android has left the mass storage option out of it’s latest builds for security and various other reasons. However, these Android devices do support “Media device (MTP)” which allows you to add or remove files from your internal storage. MTP drivers are always included with the stock Android phone software. ADB drivers and Fastboot drivers will need to be downloaded from the Android SDK. We have an entire section full of Android USB Drivers, but we have that covered as well for you below on how to download and install the drivers.

Samsung Galaxy Note Edge USB Drivers for Windows

Like we said, the USB drivers for Galaxy Note Edge are always bundled with Samsung KIES or MTP drivers are part of the Android 4.4 KitKat / Android 5.0 Lollipop software that comes with the phone. For transferring media content, photos and other files from your phone, you need to have a micro USB cable (preferably the one you got with the phone) for the phone.

  • Recommended: Download and install Samsung USB drivers first for Galaxy Note Edge!
  • Connect your Galaxy Note Edge with the computer using that USB cable.
  • Now wait for the computer to recognize the device.
  • Several drivers including the modem, MTP service etc. will be installed automatically.

Once finished, you will see a new media device in My Computer. You can now transfer photos, music, videos or any other files from and to your Galaxy Note Edge USB memory.

Samsung Galaxy Note Edge USB Drivers for Mac

Connecting your Galaxy Note Edge USB memory on a Mac is also easy. If you have been a Nexus device user on a Mac previously, then this Galaxy Note Edge should be no different for you. Make sure you have a Galaxy Note Edge and a micro-USB data cable (preferably, the one that came with the phone). Follow these quick steps:

  • Recommended: Download and install Samsung USB drivers first for Galaxy Note Edge!
  • Download Android File Transfer and install it on Mac OS X.
  • Connect your Galaxy Note Edge with the USB cable.
  • Wait for the phone to get connected and drivers to be installed.
  • Android File Transfer window will automatically open up with your internal phone memory directories.

Alternatively, you can also use Samsung KIES for browsing through your internal storage and transfer file easily.

That’s it! Pretty easy solutions, eh? Let me know if you run into any problems and we’ll try our best to sort it out.
