Nexus 6 was announced by Google just a little after Samsung announced their all new Galaxy Note 4. Both of these Android phones come under the high-end category because of the powerful specs they offer and the number of features that come with them. Motorola Nexus 6 is based on stock Android 5.0 Lollipop, giving you the pure Android experience without any extra modifications from Motorola. But in the case of Samsung, they always modify Android and add an extra layer of customizations called TouchWiz — which usually enhances the overall phone experience for some, and ruins for the rest.

Like every year, this time again, it was expected that Google would release its Nexus device keeping the price range from low to mid end range. But this year the device perhaps rolls out with increased price and absolutely no comprise in any part of hardware and of course neither the software. Nexus 6 contains a huge 5.9 inches of screen with a great “pixel-rich, 6″ Quad HD display” that steals the limelight. A great innovation and a new feature to smartphone, the front-facing stereo speakers proved to be just amazing with just the best audio you’d ever want. Along with a mesmerizing Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 quad-core 2.7GHz processor and the Adreno 420 GPU gives you an amazing lightning fast smartphones with the best ever graphics. Camera was the key focus for this year, and yet the Nexus 6 doesn’t fails to amuse us. The 13 Megapixel 4128 x 3096 pixels and the all new ring flash design not only makes it top of the line camera but also a good looking phone. Besides that, it comes with Google’s finest, Android 5.0 Lollipop and not to forget, Project Volta, which allows you to have 6 hours of talk time just after 15 minutes of charging.
Samsung Galaxy Note 4
Let’s now talk about the Samsung’s flagship, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4. Well, the most appealing feature of this device is it’s spectacular camera. For Samsung’s whooping success in line of smartphones cameras, it is said to be that Note 4 has the best ever camera in any Smartphone today. Which is 16 Megapixel and allows you to record 2k videos on the go. Besides that, another very appealing feature of Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is that it not only has the Quad HD display on the gigantic 5.7 Inch screen but also the Samsung’s pride, the Super AMOLED screen which gives you goosebumps every time you see your display. Out of the box, Samsung Galaxy Note 4 comes with a Snapdragon 805 exactly the same processor as the Nexus 6 but with better GPUs that are Adreno 420 and Mali-T760. Note 4 of course comes with an S-Pen along with which come great features like The ‘Photo Note’ feature, Smart select, Smart screenshot etc.
We firmly believe that Samsung Galaxy Note 4 be slightly ahead of the Google Nexus 6 in some of the areas. For example, the camera. There is no competition with Galaxy Note 4’s camera as it is clearly a lot better. We’ll do a camera comparison soon! Other than that, hardware specifications are almost the same, but again Galaxy Note 4 takes the lead when it gets some addition Samsung features and obviously the S Pen.
