Android 5.0 Lollipop LRX21O / LRX21P was just released and is now available for download. Who is getting them? Lots of Android phones. The first ones right is the Nexus family of devices, then we have the Moto X and Motor G as well in line. Factory images can now be downloaded from the Google Developers website and we also have complete how-to guides on installing them on your phone. The OTA (over-the-air) update has also started rolling out for everyone, but if you do not want to wait for the OTA update to roll out in 2-3 days, grab the factory image now. This new Lollipop build is now out for the Nexus family of devices: Nexus 5, Nexus 7 (2013), Nexus 7 (2012), Nexus 9 and Nexus 10.

Android 5.0 (LRX21O / LRX21P) will be made available to everyone through an update OTA later today, but for those who cannot wait and want to give it a try already, the factory images have already been posted on the Google Developers website. These factory images are stock Android 5.0 (build LRX21O / LRX21P) with no modifications or customizations, whatsoever. You can download Android 5.0 factory images for the Nexus 5, Nexus 7 (2013), Nexus 7 (2012), Nexus 9 and Nexus 10. Direct links have been posted below.

Here are the direct download links of these Android 5.0 stock factory image files for the Google devices. Please note, installing these factory images will require you to unlock your bootloader which includes wiping everything from your device. We will soon do a separate tutorial for that, but please make sure you know what you are doing before attempting to install any of the follow Android 5.0 LRX21O / LRX21P factory images.

You can download the appropriate Android 5.0 factory image for your Google Nexus device and try out the new Android 5.0 before others get the OTA update on their phones and tablets.
