Root XXDMB2 Android 4.1.2 Method Details:

This root method will root Galaxy Note 2 N7100 on XXDMB2 Android 4.1.2 firmware and also install ClockworkMod recovery with it. You do not need to already have CWM installed, as this root package will use ODIN.

Make sure you are on the XXDMB2 Android 4.1.2 firmware. Go to Settings > About phone to check.

If you already have a custom recovery (ClockworkMod, TWRP etc.) installed on your phone, we strongly recommend a backup using that as it creates a complete image of your existing phone set up.
