How to Install Xperia Acro S LT26w Android 4.1.2 CM10 Jelly Bean Custom Firmware

We have been getting lots o queries about installing Jelly Bean on Xperia Acro S LT26w, but we have something even better – Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, powered by CM10. This is a beta custom ROM for Xperia Acro S, but you can also experience the stock Android 4.1.2 on your Android phone. You can easily install Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean CM10 on Xperia Acro S LT26w with the tutorial given below. You will need to have ClockworkMod recovery installed from before.

In this tutorial, we will tell you how to update Xperia Acro S LT26w to Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean CM10 firmware with complete steps and instructions. You will have to backup all your data in the phone as this tutorial describes you to do a full data wipe. Let’s get on with the tutorial now.

What’s Not Working:

  • Lots of features. This ROM is still WIP (work in progress).

Make sure you have installed all your USB drivers for the Sony Ericsson Xperia Acro S to connect it with the computer. Download Sony Ericsson Xperia Acro S USB drivers! Apart from just the USB drivers, there are a few more things that you need to take care of.

2. Your phone battery should be 80-85% charged. If your phone goes off suddenly because of battery, during flashing ROMs or installing mods and updates — your phone might go dead permanently. See here: How to Check Battery Percentage.
