HTC One X is now reported to be receiving the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean software update in Europe and Asia. It was announced by HTC that they would be releasing the official Android 4.1 Jelly Bean firmware update for the HTC One X and One S in October – and they kept their word! You should be getting an OTA notification anytime now to update your phone to the latest available software update.

This new official Jelly Bean update comes with all the goodness that you would have read about in the revent HTC phone releases with Jelly Bean on board. It comes with HTC Sense 4+, two new Gallery app views, a brand new HTC Watch app and of course, Google Now. You can get the update now!

A few reports earlier hinted that HTC will be releasing the official Jelly Bean update with the new Android 4.1.2, but looks like the software version is still on Android 4.1.1. There is no word on when the U.S HTC One X will get the update, but we are guessing it will be out very soon as the Jelly Bean firmware roll out has started.
