Update Galaxy S Advance I9070 to Android 2.3.6 ZSLF1 Official Firmware

Galaxy S Advance GT-I9070 is the mid-range successor to the popular Galaxy S Android phone by Samsung. Just like the I9000, Samsung seems to have no plans to update Galaxy S Advance to Android 4.0 ICS. For now, we have an official firmware update Android 2.3.6 ZSLF1 for I9070 Galaxy S Advance.

As you read further, we will guide you through the entire process of how to update Galaxy S Advance I9070 to Android 2.3.6 ZSLF1 Gingerbread official firmware using ODIN. Make sure you have installed all your USB drivers for the Samsung Galaxy S Advance to connect it with the computer. Download Samsung Galaxy S Advance USB drivers! Apart from just the USB drivers, there are a few more things that you need to take care of.

Data can also be backed up using Samsung KIES for their devices, but if you backup data manually, you get more options what top choose from and it is very easy to move data across Android devices from different manufacturers, i.e moving Samsung Galaxy Note backup data to HTC One X.
