HTC Sense 4.0 custom ROM port for the Samsung Galaxy Note is going to be available very soon as the developer readies the custom ROM for daily use with most of the features working.
At the moment, the Sense 4.0 port to Galaxy Note has most of the features not working at all. The dev has even posted a quick video demo of Galaxy Note Sense 4.0 ROM. This custom firmware is part of the Sense 4 All project by QuBe2 who wants to bring Sense 4.0 UI to a number of Android phones by Samsung. We have already posted about how to install Sense 4.0 on Nexus S.
Currently, the Galaxy Note Sense 4.0 ROM has the following features working and not working. You will be able to watch the demo video below.
- Boots (ORLY?!!)
- Rosie (Need resizing)
- Sensors (Not sure anymore, but I’ll provide lib if not)
What Doesn’t work:
- Widgets (Need proper Rosie)
- Random SoftReboots (Device will Hang, and soft reboot)
- SD Card => MAIN ISSUE
See. It’s not yet ready to be used. Watch the demo video below:
Sense 4.0 sure looks beautiful on the Samsung Galaxy Note N7000.
