You can download Nokia Launcher APK for other Android phones and tablets. Nokia is re-entering the Android market with its new lineup of 2017 smartphones. We recently got our hands on the Nokia 3 which we reviewed here: Nokia 3 Review but along with that, we were able to extract the launcher that ships default on the phone. Many readers might think that the Nokia launcher is a heavily skinned affair but actually, it is quite similar to Google’s Pixel Launcher. In fact, we think, this is the only phone, except the Pixel lineup, which you can get that ships with the Pixel Launcher. Nokia X lineup, back in the day, was the only Android offering from Nokia. However, it didn’t gain traction due to the highly modified UI which was supposed to be a Windows phone look-alike. However, this time around, Nokia has done a very good job with the UI. It hasn’t tweaked it much and has stayed true to vanilla Android. After you download it, install it like any other APK. If you are installing an APK for the very first time, you would have to allow “Install from Unknown Sources” option in settings. How to Install Nokia Launcher APK

As mentioned before, you need to be running Android Nougat for this tutorial to work.

Step 1 – Download Nokia Launcher APK:

Step 2 – Locate the APK you just downloaded and open it to install it.

Step 3 – If you are installing an APK directly for the very first time, you would be notified to enable “Unknown Source” setting. If not sure about this, see link below on where to find this setting.

Step 4 – After enabling, the app should install. You can open it by pressing your HOME button and then select the “Launcher3” option.

That’s it! You can now set the Nokia Launcher as your default app and use it on your Android device.

How to Uninstall Nokia Launcher From Your Phone

If you are already tired of playing with the Nokia launcher or you just didn’t like it and want to revert back to the default / stock launcher of your Android device, here is a quick tutorial on how to do that.

Step 1 – Go to Settings > Applications on your phone.

Step 2 – Tap the three-dot menu icon (top right) and select “Show system apps”

Step 3 – Now scroll down and look for the “Launcher3” app. Tap on it.

Step 4 – Now, click on “Uninstall”.
