Download the new Pixel Launcher that was bundled with the recently released Android O Developer Preview 2. This is similar to the last one we covered when the first developer preview of Android O was launched. This updated Android O launcher can be easily installed on any Android phone running Android Marshmallow and above. This launcher is exactly that runs on Google Pixel with a few updated tweaks here and there. This Pixel Launcher APK from Android O Dev Preview 2 has been modified and patched to run on older Android devices.
Android O Launcher (Pixel Launcher O-3952143) is extracted from Android O Developer Preview 2, the upcoming Android release later this year. Most of the features work fine and are fully compatible with phones running Marshmallow and Nougat. To make Google Now work on your device, you need to install this app as a system app. It looks and feels pretty much the same as the previous release, but for those who like to stay updated to the latest version — you can download it from below.
In our tests, it works perfect on the Nexus 6P and Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge running on Android Nougat while adding an extra row on the screen. You can see that in action in the screenshot attached above.
