The article we have here is directed towards the new owners or potential buyers of the Samsung Galaxy J5. We will show you how to install proper USB drivers on your computer specifically for the Galaxy J5. Installation of these drivers will then ensure that you don’t get corrupted transfers of data as well as your computer completely and correctly recognizes your phone. Also, for any sort of firmware upgrading or modification, it is essential you have the USB drivers installed before hand. Adding to it’s importance, our manual firmware guides that revolve around the Samsung Galaxy J5 require ODIN which in turn require you to have correct USB drivers. Right below you will be able to find out all the details on installing USB drivers for your Samsung Galaxy J5 along with download links to the required files.

The download link present in our tutorial will guide you to a package which is universal to all Samsung phones including the new Galaxy J5.  Due to security issues, a phone cannot be simply connected to a PC and act as a USB. If you have a lock code, you would first have to bypass that on your phone, then connect it. The USB drivers on the PC end allow you to transfer files properly without any hassle. If you are looking for fastboot drivers, we have a link for that as well. You won’t have to install the full SDK just to get to the fastboot. We have an entire section full of Android USB Drivers, but we have that covered as well for you below on how to download and install the drivers.
