Android 4.2.2 Custom ROMs


Android 4.2.2 software update (build JDQ39) was released a few days ago for the Nexus family of devices by Google – Nexus 4, Nexus 7, Nexus 10 and the Galaxy Nexus. Soon after the update rolled out, the new Jelly Bean update was pushed to AOSP and a few hours later we started seeing AOSP based custom ROMs being updated to the new Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update for every other Android phone and tablet. How to find this Android 4.2.2 ROM? This is what we will be trying to solve today.

Many developers maintaining custom ROMs for high-end Android phones have already updated their AOSP ROM with the new Android 4.2.2. This new update brings a few minor features, like improved quick settings panel, download time left in the notifications and the most importantly, the Bluetooth bug was fixed which had been in Android since the release of Android 4.2.

Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean Custom ROMs

We have compiled a list of devices and their custom ROMs below that have been updated with the new Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean software version. We will regularly update the list and add custom ROMs for the next few days till Android 4.2.2 is popular enough and almost every AOSP based developer has added it to their custom firmwares.
