Samsung Galaxy S2 Plus GT-I9105: Android Phone by Samsung Spotted – Coming Q1 2013
Samsung Galaxy S2 Plus GT-I9105 has been spotted in the wild – an Android phone that is expected to show up in Q1 2013. It seems to be a successor of the infamous Samsung Galaxy S2 I9100 which was released last year. According to SamMobile, Samsung will be announcing the Galaxy S2 Plus I9105 in two colours: Chic White and Dark Blue. This phone is expected to arrive with just an 8GB version. In our opinion, 8GB is not enough storage space since half of it is used by Android and the apps you install.
According to SamMobile’s insiders, this new Android phone is expected to start shipping from within 3-5 weeks after its announcement. Some rumoured technical specifications of the Galaxy S2 Plus are also available which you can read after the jump.
Samsung Galaxy S2 Plus GT-I9105 Specifications
Here are a few rumoured specifications that may or may not come with the Galaxy S2 Plus:
- Screen size same as the Galaxy S2 I9100 (4.3” 480 x 800).
- 1GHz dual-core processor.
- It will have Android 4.1.1 or Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean.
These rumoured technical specifications of the Galaxy S2 Plus seems to be more like a downgrade of the original Samsung Galaxy S2 I9100. We hope the specifications would be somewhere between the two phones and not really a downgrade.
