Samsung Galaxy S Duos S7562: Enter Recovery Mode – Tutorial for Windows and Mac

Galaxy S Duos is one of the new dual-SIM phones launched by Samsung. For those of you looking for a way to enter Recovery Mode on the Galaxy S Duos, here are a few methods that you can try on your Android phone. Recovery mode on the Samsung Galaxy S Duos S7562 will allow you to do many things. Most of the custom ROMs for Galaxy S Duos are installed from the recovery mode. Factory reset your phone, install OTA updates manually or when loaded a custom recovery, you have endless possibilities that can do with your phone including a Nandroid backup/restore as well.

How to Enter Recovery Mode on Galaxy S Duos S7562

Here is a quick and short tutorial on how to access the Recovery Mode on your Galaxy S Duos S7562. Follow the steps carefully given below.

Method 1: Using Keys Combination to Enter Recovery Mode

Step 1 - Turn OFF your Galaxy S Duos.

Step 2 - Switch ON the phone while pressing and holding Volume Down + Volume Up + Home + Power buttons together.

That’s it! You are now in the Recovery Mode of your Galaxy S Duos S7562.

NOTE: For those who are not able to figure out the key combination method to enter Recovery Mode in Galaxy S Duos. So, we will be using the ADB method for Recovery Mode for them below as we have written in a tutorial once before.

Method 2: Using ADB on Windows to Enter Recovery Mode

Step 1 - Make sure USB drivers / ADB drivers for Galaxy S Duos have been installed and ADB is configured on your computer.

Step 2 - Connect your Galaxy S Duos to your PC with a USB cable and install ADB drivers (if needed).

Step 3 - Navigate to android-sdk-windows\platform-tools directory and open Command Prompt (Shift + Right-click anywhere in the folder > Open Command Prompt).

Step 4 - Type in the following command and press Enter.

adb reboot recovery

Step 5 - Your Galaxy S Duos will turn OFF and then boot into the Recovery Mode. Navigate up and down using the volume keys.

Method 3: Using ADB on Mac OS X to Enter Recovery Mode

Step 1 - Make sure USB drivers / ADB drivers for Galaxy S Duos have been installed and ADB is configured on your computer.

Step 2 - Connect your Galaxy S Duos to your Mac with a USB cable.

Step 3 - Now open Terminal app on your Mac and enter the following command and press Enter:

/<PATH>/android-sdk-macosx/platform-tools/adb reboot recovery

NOTE: <path> should be the location where your Android SDK is stored.

Step 4 - Your Galaxy S Duos will turn OFF and then boot into the Recovery Mode. Navigate up and down using the volume keys.

      just do this

      1.Turn off phone.
      2. Press & hold (Power + Volume Up + Home) keys & release when samsung galaxy y duos logo appears.
      3. You will be in recovery,
