Update NTT DoCoMo SC-02C to OMLPL Android 4.0.4 Official Stock Firmware

NTT DoCoMo SC-02C Galaxy S2 official stock firmware update (Android 4.0.4 OMLPL ICS) has released. Galaxy S II users are eagerly waiting for the Jelly Bean update, but Samsung has yet to announce when it will launch the Android 4.1 official update for all the NTT DoCoMo SC-02C users. You can easily install Android 4.0.4 OMLPL ICS on SC-02C Galaxy S2 I9100 using the tutorial given below.

This latest SC02COMLPL is released by Samsung over KIES for Japan (NTT DoCoMo). The modem build is DCMLPL and the firmware build date is 16th July 2012. This firmware can be installed on Japan NTT DoCoMo SC-02C only.

Make sure you have installed all your USB drivers for the Samsung Galaxy S II to connect it with the computer. Download Samsung SC-02C Galaxy S2 USB drivers! Apart from just the USB drivers, there are a few more things that you need to take care of.

Data can also be backed up using Samsung KIES for their devices, but if you backup data manually, you get more options what top choose from and it is very easy to move data across Android devices from different manufacturers, i.e moving Samsung Galaxy Note backup data to HTC One X.
