Samsung just unpacked their new flagship phone at the Samsung Unpacked 2012 event in London. Just an hour ago, Samsung announced the next galaxy, the Samsung Galaxy S III. After tons of leaks, rumoured photos and leaked video, the final product has been out and announced today.

The new Samsung Galaxy S III is powered with the Exynos 4 Quadcore processor and comes with 1GB RAM, 16/32/64GB of storage options, 8 megapixels camera and Android 4.0. On the software end, TouchWiz is included on Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0) which brings tons and tons of new features to the phone.

Samsung Galaxy S III weighs just 133g and is 8.6mm at its thickest. The rounded corners of the phone somewhat look like on the Galaxy Nexus, but again, this is the new Samsung Galaxy S III with a quadcore (Exynos 4) processor under the hood.

Samsung Galaxy S III Release Date

Starting this month, the Samsung Galaxy S III will be available in stores from May 29 in Europe – and is expected to launch sometime in June in North America. Other release dates and countries will be announced soon.
