Market Enabler

We have covered this before, and here we are again with the same topic. Market Enabler stopped working for the latest Android 3.0+ releases, but looks like there is another similar app in the Android Market that does the same job, but more effectively without any issues at all.

For those who are still new to this, Market Enabler is a free Android app for rooted Android devices. It allows you to fake your network carrier and access Android Market apps/games from different countries. You can also download paid apps from countries where only free apps are available.

Install Paid and US-Only Apps from Android Market

Why use this? Because then you will be able to download some of the latest Google apps and other US-specific content (MySpace Android app, VEVO)  on your phone.

Market Enabler works based on reverse engineering of Android Market delivered up to 1.5.x but it fully works with all the Android Market updates till the one in Android 2.3.7 (I’m using it on my Nexus S).
